THE VEREM GTE
The French company Solido first sold a model of the
Series I GTE in 1962 and kept it in production through
1968. In the 1980's, Solido resumed production
of the model under the Verem name. Features include
a spring suspension, opening doors that showcased a
relatively detailed interior and good looking wire
The model has minimal chrome; even the bumpers are
grey plastic.
The model comes screwed to a blue plastic base with a
clear plastic cover. Note that the blue on the back of
the base (without the word Ferrari) is the correct color.
The odd color on the front is caused by sun fading.
